Patience is one of the most important quality that a dentist should have. We work with patients who might be anxious, in pain or be afraid. Demonstrating patience helps build trust, improves treatment outcomes, and therefore enhances the overall experience.

As an orthodontist, I rarely get the dramatic RCT-on-a-pregnant-patient moments but I have my own version like patients who show up mid treatment convinced their teeth aren’t moving “the way they should” and you realise half the job is managing fear and not force vectors.
Curious how you handle that kind of in chair anxiety on your end.
