Plan according to the question paper first
For the first 2 minutes, quickly scan all questions and then note down the allocated time against each question.
Allocate time according to marks
Spend time proportional to marks (e.g., 10 marks ≈ 10–12 minutes). The one question you have prepared well may come as a question for 2 marks. But remember there is no benefit in answering that one for 5 marks!
Start with questions you know best
This boosts confidence, and can save you from regret of not answering well the question that you know .
Stick to structure, not stories
Use headings, subheadings, flowcharts, and diagrams instead of long paragraphs. Structured answers save time and fetch better marks.
Always start answer from what you know best and then u get time to remember and write the one you have doubts on. Plan to write answer according to the marks, never fill it for sake of it just short for 2 marks and detailed with subheading for 5 or 10 marks make it presentable and readable for proper marks gain.
Proper planning according to the question paper is important for effective exam performance. Spending the first two minutes for scanning the entire paper helps in understanding the pattern of questions and allows better time allocation for each section. Structured answers save time, improve clarity, and help in scoring better marks.
