It is all about choices when it comes to reproductive health. Not going into specifics, but India has even given up on “Hum Do, Hamare Do” while country’s population keeps exploding.

Have you ever seen any political or social leader taking up the cause of population control?

We are becoming a more modern and progressive country but despite talking about reproductive health and family planning , a huge portion of our population still believe in myths or aren’t doing family planning. More targeted awareness and strict rules have to made. There should be more support for women from the society as well as family to be able to make decisions as it is their body too. Now is the time to be taking this seriously.
