I believe it is acceptable to use Google for basic health knowledge or tips because Google only prioritizes health content from credible sources or healthcare professionals. However, Google or AI cannot replace a doctor for diagnosis or treatment because each patient is unique and has a unique history, making doctorsâ roles irreplaceable.
Well, I would say not completely in my opinion , patients do gather information From Google and AI and resist to go to the doctor and based on that info they diagnose themselves and take home treatment also based on Google search and when condition worsen they approach the doctor and some patients will blame the doctors for not treating them well .
Though AI and other tools can give info but a doctor will not just give you info but examine you , confirm diagnosis, treat you properly, reassure you .
Medicine is not only science, itâs also a human interaction . Patient doctor interaction is really important, we might have heard from many patients âki mein uss doctor se milkar hi theek ho gya aadha â , so a good doctor understand the patient as a person itâs emotions, fears, lifestyle , unique symptoms .
