We often talk about what we do, but rarely about what it teaches us.
Let’s flip the question today!
Instead of “What do you do for a living?”
Ask: “What is your profession teaching you?”
Is it patience, resilience, creativity, empathy—or something unexpected?
I’ll go first:
Pharmacy taught me that healing begins with understanding, compassion and care; not just prescriptions.
Now it’s your turn!
What’s your POV about your profession?
Let’s hear it below
With a background in Biomedical research, my professional journey especially through anti-cancer drug research that I had worked on, has taught me that, science is not just about discovery but it is also about learning endurance. Sometimes, one needs to learn to trust the process, tolerate ambiguity, and most importantly should value small wins that may one day mean life for someone else through the research conducted. My profession taught me to think like a scientist, but to live with the patience of a healer.
