War Beyond Wounds: The Hidden Health Crisis

War is not only fought in battlefield, but is carried in communities with physical, mental, and social health during/after a war. The impact of any war extends far beyond the soldiers, wounded civilians, healthcare system and passes to future generations.

1. Physical health impact

  • Shortage of medical supplies

War does not end when the fight stops; it continues within the bodies and mind of those who survived. War never brings any type of benefit, in any case health wise it creates a generation-long trauma and wound so deep that it sometimes can never be healed
