We all know that T cells are the primary soldiers of our immune system, responsible for identifying and destroying abnormal cells, including cancer. Researchers found that by blocking a protein called Ant2, these T cells undergo a powerful transformation through which they become:

- more resilient,
- Better at identifying cancer cells,
- more efficient at destroying tumors.
This happens because blocking Ant2, it forces T cells to reprogram how they produce and use energy.
