Trauma Emergency Protocol:
ABCDE Assessment:
Airway
Breathing
Circulation
Disability (neurological)
Exposure (environmental control)
Rapid Stabilization:
Secure airway (intubation if needed)
Control bleeding
Maintain circulation (fluids, blood)
Assessment and Intervention:
Identify life-threatening injuries
Manage pain and anxiety
Immobilize spine (if necessary)
Imaging and Diagnostics:
X-rays, CT scans, or other imaging as needed
Multidisciplinary Teamwork:
Collaboration between emergency medicine, surgery, and other specialties
Timely Intervention:
Prioritize life-saving interventions
Goal: Rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment to improve patient outcomes.
