Trauma Emergency Protocol:

  1. ABCDE Assessment:
    • Airway
    • Breathing
    • Circulation
    • Disability (neurological)
    • Exposure (environmental control)
  2. Rapid Stabilization:
    • Secure airway (intubation if needed)
    • Control bleeding
    • Maintain circulation (fluids, blood)
  3. Assessment and Intervention:
    • Identify life-threatening injuries
    • Manage pain and anxiety
    • Immobilize spine (if necessary)
  4. Imaging and Diagnostics:
    • X-rays, CT scans, or other imaging as needed
  5. Multidisciplinary Teamwork:
    • Collaboration between emergency medicine, surgery, and other specialties
  6. Timely Intervention:
    • Prioritize life-saving interventions
