Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the rapidly growing technology in the world. AI can replace many human job opportunities now and in the future. In the healthcare system, AI may replace humans, but it cannot perform work with the same level of precision as humans do. Even though AI has both pros and cons, it may commit errors. These errors can affect the public health directly or indirectly. Especially in surgery and pharmacy, the minor errors leads to major consequences. Therefore, it is crucial that certain work, particularly in healthcare industry are performed by humans rather than AI.

AI is a powerful tool, not a replacement. While it can enhance accuracy, speed, and decision support, medicine is fundamentally human at its core. Specialties like psychiatry, emergency medicine, surgery, and pediatrics rely heavily on empathy, judgment under uncertainty, ethical responsibility, and human connection—areas where AI falls short.
The future isn’t doctors vs AI; it’s doctors with AI. Those who learn to work alongside AI will always remain indispensable.
