I think the viva exam hits you harder.

In theory, you can add fluff to lengthen your paper unlike the viva exam.

Viva panic hits me harder — the pressure of thinking on the spot and facing direct questions feels more intense than the quiet stress of writing a theory exam.

Definitely the viva part. Even if you give them the right answer, when the external asks “Are you sure?” I doubt myself.

Undoubtedly Viva!
In theory we are by ourselves, no at a time evaluation, gives us time to think and answer, while during Viva evaluator is sitting right in front of you and giving those judgemental look create panic.

Definitely its VIVA!!! That the worst nightmare out there! In the theory the stress is passive, but in VIVA its active where external will act as ATP!!! :melting_face:

To be honest, both theory exams and practicals feel equally haunting to me. Choosing the right words—whether while writing or speaking—feels like walking a tightrope. Coming from a CBSE background, we were taught to understand concepts and express them freely, but here, unless you write those exact keywords, marks just slip away. That shift really triggers my anxiety. And when it comes to viva, it’s even more intimidating—the professor sitting in front of you seems to know everything, and the fear of saying even one wrong word can freeze your thoughts. Add to that the unpredictability of which professor you’ll get, and it honestly feels like riding a rollercoaster—medical college edition.

I felt VIVA made me panic. In theory exam, I know that I can write something about the topic.
But, in VIVA, when the examiner ask the questions, for me it will take time to be processed and to come it answer. I will feel nervous and it will slow my recollecting power. So, always VIVA is panic for me.
