The Overlooked Sanitation Crisis for Healthcare Workers

Many small hospitals still don’t have proper sanitation facilities for healthcare workers — and honestly, it’s a much bigger issue than people realize.

During my internship at different hospitals, I noticed this repeatedly. As a healthcare worker, you often have to use the same washroom as patients. Some patients may even visit for stool or urine sample collection, and those excreta can carry pathogens that may increase the risk of infection for healthcare workers.

Surprisingly, this issue is still not discussed enough when it comes to healthcare infrastructure and implementation.

Have you ever been stuck in a situation like this?

Yeah I can relate to this as well. I also experienced the same thing . As a healthcare worker this matter must be put forward.
