The last paper of exams is something I wait for the entire year.
All year, we study and prepare, trying different ways to learn and remember. But the moment the timetable is announced, tension builds. Suddenly, everything feels incomplete—some topics untouched, some not revised—and the mind starts to race.
Sleepless nights and anxiety become constant companions throughout the exams.
After submitting the second-last paper, we tell ourselves, just one more, and then we’re free. That final paper becomes the only focus.
When I finally submitted my last paper, it felt surreal. The sense of freedom was overwhelming. I had planned to rest, sleep endlessly, and maybe go on a short trip—a reward after months of hard work.
But soon, a new worry took over—the results. What if I don’t score well? What about my future? Will I get into a good college?
And just like that, the anxiety returned… and stayed until the results were in my hands.
The worries of performance and results is all we carry throughout academics and life. The courage and confidence is all we can have to go forward in life.
What was your feeling after submitting the last paper?
