Go to ward.
Take case history.
As much as you take history taking, that much the speed will be increased and will help in exam fir time management.
Can prepare and see more and different types of cases.
These all will increase your knowledge and know how to approach a case.
Attending OTs which will change the approach to each cases.

- Observe Actively – Don’t just stand in OT; follow the steps, ask why each is done, and try to visualize the anatomy.

- Engage with Residents – Ask questions, discuss cases, and seek small tasks

I have also struggled with my surgery postings but by
- observing actively
- asking questions
- assisting in procedures
- revising cases daily
- correlating clinical findings with theory has helped me make the best of it

- Prepare beforehand by reviewing relevant anatomy and surgical procedures.
- Practice skills like suturing and knot-tying to improve your hands-on abilities.
- Seek feedback from seniors and peers to identify areas for improvement.
- Reflect on your experiences and review what you’ve learned to reinforce your knowledge.
