So I have one friend who attempted for neet 6th time

I met this friend before Covid , he is a good guy with good intellect but then we weren’t in contact today I contacted with them again and they are now really gloomy in life not at all they were in depression and all , how do I help my friend regarding it ? They feel they are not going anywhere, they attempted the neet exam for the 6th time and now are thinking of going abroad

I understand, it’s really hard when we try again and again but still don’t get success. My sister also gave NEET two times, and then she was told she can’t try again. So I truly feel your friend’s pain. My sister gave up after the second attempt, but your friend tried six times, that shows real courage and strength. I believe life always gives new chances.

I also know the pain. I have given my neet 2 times and my score was not good enough for a medical seat. so i have taken a break and joined pharmacy. I personally felt that this is also a good career option. so maybe whatver happens dont get struck always move forward with life

I truly admire his perseverance to attempt 6 times, that shows how strong that person is, despite all that. With the right guidance and support I believe he has the potential to achieve even greater things.

Being a doctor might be your biggest dream but don’t waste your golden years trapped in a room, rereading the same books over and over again. There’s a lot to explore outside.

going aboard is good option and it will help him from moving all toxicity

I can understand his situation as I attempted so many competitive exams related to my field. Some exams I just lost seat for only 3%. Some just for being general category. After so many exams I just lost my hopes and left everything there and move forward.

No matter how truly u want to be a doctor even when u can’t be in the 6 time , just give it up there are many things to do if you really want to serve in the healthcare community
Sure a doctor is seen in the frontline but everyone who’s ever working in the hospital serves the same amount of energy
It’s the thought to serve and do it that counts

Very unusual. I salute the perseverance of this guy. However need should not be a prestige issue. Getting into a medical school - there are so many overseas options, and they are equally good.

It is nice to stick to the things we want and so much of perseverance is needed for that.

6 attempts. A big sign of courage and not losing hope. I would advise to explore. Explore, there’s more out there. Maybe you find something more better. Don’t let this single thing define you.
