  2. Check Keywords – to know the main focus areas.

  3. Skim the Introduction – note the background, problem statement, and research gap.

  4. Look at Objectives/Hypothesis – what exactly is being tested or studied.

  5. Understand Methodology – study design, participants, sample size, tools, and techniques used.

  6. Analyze Results Section – focus on figures, tables, graphs, and statistical tests.

  7. Interpret Discussion – how results are linked to previous research and future implications.

  8. Read the Conclusion – summarize key takeaways.

  1. Relevance – Does the study address a meaningful problem in the field?

  2. Clarity of Objectives – Are the aims/hypotheses clearly defined?

3)Study Design Quality – Is the chosen method appropriate and valid?

  1. Sample & Data Collection – Is the sample size sufficient and representative?

  2. Statistical Analysis – Are tests properly used, and results significant?

  3. Results Interpretation – Are conclusions supported by the data, or overstated?

  4. Bias & Limitations – Did the authors acknowledge potential weaknesses?

  5. Novelty & Contribution – Does it add something new to existing knowledge?

  6. Ethical Considerations – Was ethical approval taken (esp. in clinical/medical studies)?

  7. Writing Quality – Is the paper logically structured, clear, and evidence-based?

  8. Personal Evaluation – Do you agree with the findings? Any gaps or unanswered questions?

  9. Future Scope – What could be researched further based on this study?
