Prokera is an FDA cleared biologic corneal bandage used by doctors to treat damaged eye surfaces.
It is made up of cryopreserved amniotic membrane tissue flexed up in a ring, in which the proteins are released slowly, to reduce inflammation, prevents scarring thereby healing the cornea.
