What’s the most obscure or seemingly useless topic we study in MBBS that somehow always ends up being asked in vivas, even though we rarely encounter it in clinical practice or everyday medical situations?

Histology of Epiphysis

Circle of Willis” from neuroanatomy.spend hours memorizing its branches, anastomoses, and blood supply zones yet rarely do you directly use this intricate map in everyday clinical decision making unless you’re in neuro, stroke care, or radiology.

Histological slides for me… I won’t call them useless but they are pretty perplexing and I never liked them.
All the slides that our teacher used to show us had the same appearance “pink cells with purple/dark pink border and dark coloured nucleus”
