In recent times, we have observed many people in Bolloywood and Hollywood are turning thin and there’s a rumour that taking drugs like Ozempic has caused the drastic weight loss in them in such a short time. But most of them, deny saying that it has become possible through correct diet, exercise regime, a good sleep routine etc. The usage of it is currently rising here in India where there’s import of it without correct and formal procedure and it is mostly marketed for quick results. Besides, we have seen that a to-be-bride/groom mostly takes some weight loss herbal powder to get thin in few months and this is something very common we see around all the time.
- Are these drugs and powders safe and to what extent?
- What precautions can we take and what understanding we need to have?
- Are these just glamorized treatments or there exists any evidence-based research related?
What’s your take? Let the discussions flow for a comprehensive awareness.

I think so taking these type of powders and drugs are ok for only temporary after some years when people are becoming old then at that time it shows the side effect due to less immunity power. Because weight gain and weight loss is not an normal thing whenever we need we can increase or decrease the cholesterol present in our body will naturally be burned by the workouts only. so fast treatment=keeping our life in risk.
Cinema actors use these drugs they too are facing many problems and we do not know that as the social media and news channels never shows the negative side.
