American psychiatrist Dr. Rami Kaminski has identified a new personality called “Otrovert”. This personality doesn’t fit neatly into introvert, extrovert or even ambivert.
Introverts recharge by being alone
Otroverts are different
- Feel like an outsider -even in groups they belong to.
- Can be friendly and talkative
, yet never fully feel a sense of belonging. - Gain energy from their own internal world–ideas
, curiosity, and self-driven thought processes
. - Highly independent thinkers
and creative but also socially selective . - Prefer deep one-on-one conversations
over large group interactions. - Often feel out of place at large gatherings and crowds.
- Comfortable being alone
but not because they dislike people.
Labels like “otrovert” aren’t just jargon — they give people language to understand themselves better. “I wanted to raise awareness that being a non-joiner doesn’t have to interfere with thriving,” says Dr Kaminski.
So may be you are not fully extrovert , introvert or ambivert.
