I used to think that once I graduate, everything would just fall into place.
But the real world doesn’t work like a class schedule. It’s messy. It’s unpredictable.
Some days, I feel confident.
Other days, I find myself second-guessing everything, reading job descriptions, Googling roles, wondering if I’m even on the right path.
The truth is, no one prepares you for how uncertain the post-grad phase can be. Especially when you’re trying to shift into roles that sound exciting but feel unfamiliar.
Whether it’s research, regulatory affairs, Clinical Data Management, Medical Writing, or something completely outside the textbook.
It’s okay to feel lost at first.
What matters is starting somewhere, Exploring, Failing, Learning.
You’re not behind. You’re just transitioning.
And that’s where most of us actually grow.
Anyone else going through this phase?
