Network Pharmacology

Network pharmacology is an emerging approach in pharmacology that shifts the focus from a one drug, one target, one disease model to a more holistic network-target, multi-component model.

It’s really cool because it helps researchers understand how a drug can have multiple effects, both good and bad. This approach is making it possible to find new uses for old drugs and even create new medicines that work on multiple targets at once, which is a huge deal for complex illnesses.
