1st of all stopp calling it non clinicals …
PHD - Public health Dentists - If you take admission in a good college… U will learn all the preventive and treatment protocols (scaling, extractions, restoration)
- You can work as academicians, Biostatisticion
- Any central gov state government jobs have easy access because of the public health domain you have studied so jobs in this sectors… You have a little prevalege.
- You can associate with any NGO’s, WHO, UNICEF and government for passing Public health regulations and much more…
4.Set up your practice
OMR - Oral Medicine and Radiology -
- Set up your own practice, Academics
- Learn biopsy techniques and performance biopsies in private clinics
- Tele consultations for the dentist
- Join any diagnostic centers for interpretation of CBCT, OPG, Ultrasound and MRI cases
- GOVERNMENT gives many grants for studies focused on pre-malignant and cancer treatment screening and prevention… Work on that side
- Gov opportunities for cancer screening.
- Join Non clinical jobs
ORAL PATHOLOGY - most underated department…
- Academics and own practice
- Join Labs for head and neck histopathology reporting
- Collaborate and be part of Forensic team and work as forensic odontologist
- Establishing your own histopathology lab
- Join academics
- Join Non - clinical jobs
Many people don’t focus on any of these options because: in UG no proper guidance, they are not exposed with so much skills, and poor reciprocation from the staff … Always ends up in a judgement like… Who does PG in non clinicals…
It’s the most heard and unexplored career path.
