Most overrated study advice ever 🚨

“Don’t procrastinate.” :smiling_face_with_tear:

We’ve all heard it, but what if procrastination isn’t always the enemy? Some work actually benefits from strategic delay:

  • letting ideas marinate
  • clearing mental space
  • doing your best thinking when you step away first

According to creative thinkers, procrastination isn’t inherently bad : it just means we’re human, and the key is learning to procrastinate well, not shaming ourselves for it.

I’ve seen people who never procrastinate grind on assignments daily, and others who did procrastinate, started the night before, and still submitted excellent work. :exploding_head:

Lesson? It’s not about when you work or how long, it’s about how effectively you work. Smart strategies, understanding the task, and focused effort always beat mindless hours.

At the end of the day: quality > quantity :raising_hands:

So, what’s the most overrated study advice you’ve ever heard?
