Is the trend of using Marrow notes over books starting from 1st year bad or is it a better strategy towards NEET PG/ INIcet?

Using Marrow notes from first year for NEET PG/INI CET has pros and cons. While it’s exam-focused, relying solely on notes might reduce foundational understanding from textbooks.
A balanced approach, using books for concepts and notes for quick revision, is often more effective.

I think from first year only, marrow notes is not a good choice.
Because books build up your concepts very clearly.
Marrow notes are for neet pg preparation and generally students start their neet pg preparation from third year but if you wanna good doctor then rely on books…and after reading books…notes will be on your fingertips

Using Marrow notes from 1st year can build NEET PG/INI-CET focus early, but relying solely on them may weaken core concepts—balancing with standard textbooks ensures deeper understanding and long-term retention.

Using Marrow notes can be a good strategy for NEET PG/INI CET prep.

They’re concise and focused, saving time and effort. Notes are great for quick revision and structured learning.

However, relying solely on notes may lead to knowledge gaps and limited depth. Textbooks provide detailed understanding and context. A balanced approach combining notes and textbooks is ideal.

Understand concepts, don’t just memorize. Practice questions regularly to apply knowledge.

Marrow notes can supplement textbooks, but shouldn’t replace them entirely. Effective prep requires a mix of resources and strategies.

Both should go hand in hand… Textbook gives you in-depth knowledge but notes are better for memorization point of view.
