Is Technology Transfer the Real Measure of Innovation?

We all know what innovation is and how useful it is for the well-being of society in all aspects. These days Innovation is measured by the number of patent filed or new product launched which according to me is partial criteria to decide whether something is innovative enough be it a idea or a product. Innovation according to me is only useful when it reaches to normal people who actually needs it.

A breakthrough drug that cannot be manufactured widely affordably remains an incomplete innovation. Technology transfer fills the gap between discovery and impact.

As a healthcare professional I feel a true innovation is not only about discovering something extraordinary rather it is about what impact it is making on general people. Transferring the required knowledge in this case way useful than only focusing on discovering.

Knowledge is a powerful tool. It has created and destroyed many dynasties. Transferring your knowledge from one person to another is a great way of improving both the lives of you and the people surrounding you. Hoarding knowledge could end in the complete loss of that knowledge to the void of history.

True innovation isn’t discovery alone it’s impact, accessibility, and real benefit to people’s lives.
