Is root canal treatment painful?

No, we do it after giving you anesthetics

Root canal treatment is not usually painful, thanks to modern anesthesia and techniques. During the procedure, the area is numbed, so most patients feel little to no pain. Some discomfort or soreness may occur afterward, similar to other dental work, but itโ€™s usually mild and manageable with painkillers.

No itโ€™s not as itโ€™s done under local anesthesia , so you will fill very mild to no pain during the procedure. However sometimes it may take more dose of anesthesia than usual due to hyperactive nerves .
