With newer technologies emerging like robotics and ai, is the future for dentists bleak? I’ve also heard about a new vaccine which can regrow teeth even after the permanent set falls off 
This is a question every student face when they are doing a professional course… I had this in mind by the time I started preclinics. But my main concern was growing saturation in the field and job opportunities. Newer technologies, however advanced is not going to threaten your standing.. but saturation will. And lower pay might kill your spirits initially .. you have to keep upgrading yourself and find new opportunities if normal clinical life doesnt meet your expectations…

Yes, the robotics might make the work more precise but it should have a hands behind doctor to have the situation in control.
