Impaction 
is when the tooth doesn’t erupt to its normal level due to various factors like lack of space, delayed eruption etc.
Symptoms of impacted tooth :
Pain and discomfort
Gum swelling
Abscess
Pain while chewing and opening the jaw
Treatment :
Surgical removal of the tooth .

Treatment ie surgical removal of the involved tooth depends upon the type of the impaction.
the easiest being soft tissue impactions. then horizontal and mesial.
