  • Dental Caries - sugary and sticky foods lead to increase in growth of cariogenic streptococcus mutans bacteria on tooth surface leading to acid production and enamel demineralization.
  • Enamel Erosion - Carbonated soft drinks and packaged juices contains acid which erode enamel leading to sensitivity.
  • Gum Diseases -Poor nutrition weakens immunity , making gums more susceptible to inflammation and periodontal diseases.
  • Plaque Accumulation -Sticky processed food adheres over tooth surfaces leading formation of plaque and later calculus.
  • Halitosis - Por dietary habits can alter oral microbiota contributing bad breath.
