Not because I didn’t know the answers.
But because I let the nerves talk louder than I did.
I spoke too fast. Tried to say too much.
Maybe I looked too eager. Maybe I just wasn’t what they were looking for.
Either way, it stung.
But here’s what I’m learning:
An interview gone wrong isn’t the end.
It’s just a mirror. Sometimes slightly cracked—but always showing where I need to grow.
Next time, I’ll walk in with a little more calm.
A little more clarity.
And the same passion—but steadier.
Because failing at one table doesn’t mean you don’t belong in the room.
Being perfect is not a natural characteristic of human, failure is what makes us more of a human. So, it’s ok to fail sometimes, because trying is always a more important phenomenon. Every failure makes us meet our own limitations and that also opens up doors for more self-improvement. So, let’s embrace the failure with a smile and hug always. Knowing more about the self is more important than just an interview.
I totally understand this feeling. Sometimes we know everything but get nervous and mess up. It hurts, but it doesn’t mean we’re not good enough. One bad interview is not the end — it’s just a step to learn and grow. Next time, we’ll go with more confidence and do better.
Every interview has something to teach. Just because you failed in one doesn’t mean that you’ll fail in others too. Have a positive attitude at everything.
