❤️ Friendship — The Real Medicine That Keeps Us Going!"

Alhamdulillah, I still have friends from school who are with me even today, along with a few kind souls from college. It’s a small circle, but every single one of them means so much to me. They have been there in ways words can’t always explain, quietly standing by my side in both tough and strong times. It’s not about big talks or constant messages… sometimes just knowing they’re there is enough to feel at peace. I am so grateful for their love, kindness, and the comfort they bring into my life. Real friendships like these make everything feel a little lighter and a lot more meaningful. Happy Friendship Day!

Happy Friendship Day to all ! Friendship is about showing up when it matters the most. In college, our friends make the hardest days feel lighter and being with them reminds us we are not alone. Beyond college, doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals become the silent friend we never knew we needed by standing with us through pain and comforting us. Heres to all friends who make life better :glowing_star:

It was the first day of college, and the air in the hostel was thick with nerves and excitement. Everyone was unpacking, settling in, and adjusting to their new surroundings. I remember walking into the common room, feeling like an outsider in a sea of unfamiliar faces. The place was buzzing with chatter, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being lost in this new chapter of my life.

Then I saw you—Arpita. You were sitting quietly in a corner, scrolling through your phone, a slight smile on your face. Something about your calm energy pulled me in. I hesitated, but then decided to break the ice.

“Hey, is this seat taken?”

You looked up, gave me a warm smile, and shook your head. “Nope, all yours.”

We started talking—first about the weather, then about how weird it felt to be away from home, and before I knew it, we were chatting like old friends. The awkwardness disappeared, replaced by an easy conversation that felt like it had always been there. I could tell we had a similar vibe—both of us a little shy but open to new experiences. It was one of those moments that just clicked. From that day on, we were inseparable. We studied together, laughed over the silliest things, and supported each other through all the ups and downs of hostel life. That first conversation, so simple yet meaningful, was the start of a beautiful friendship that still feels just as natural as it did that day.

And just like that, I knew—this was the person I’d be sharing this entire journey with.

Friendship truly is one of the best forms of medicine. When you’re overwhelmed with studies or clinical work, having someone who listens, makes you laugh, or just reminds you you’re not alone it changes everything. It’s in those small conversations, shared stress-breakers, and quiet check-ins that real healing happens.
