Dentist as freelancer

Can a dentist work as a freelancer?
These days, it’s common for clinics to call a dentist just for a day, a few days, or a week — especially when the chief doctor is away. This role is often called a freelance dentist or locum doctor.

But can this be a full-time career path?

Is it flexible freedom or unstable income?

What’s your opinion?

I doubt it can be.

Patients and dentists have a relationship based on trust.
Don’t think that can be built with freelance dentists.

That’s so true.

Yes correct

No, it cannot be a stable income for life.. you can do it while you are preparing for pg exams.. or while you are taking a break , during your vacations etc. Making a stable income out of it would be difficult.
