Climate changes v/s public health

Climate change has a direct and profound impact on public health. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and changing rainfall patterns can lead to heat-related illnesses, respiratory problems, the spread of infectious diseases, food and water insecurity, and mental health issues. Vulnerable populations—children, the elderly, and those in low-resource areas—are most affected. Tackling climate change is therefore not just an environmental issue but a critical public health priority.
