Choosing right college for MDS is more important than you think

I have seen many people who want to do MDS choose a college randomly. But here is what everyone should know before choosing a college for MDS.

MDS is not just a degree, but it is a way to increase your clinical skills and confidence in a specific branch of dentistry. Choosing a college blindly will definitely cost you later, and you may be left in a situation where you regret a few things.

So, if you are planning to do MDS from a private or a deemed college, then the most important thing that you have to look at before choosing a college is the patient flow in the department in which you want to pursue MDS. Because there are colleges that have such a low number of patients that even after completing your 3 years of MDS, you might not be confident in performing many procedures. It’s very simple: the more the number of patients, the more the exposure, which is the main goal of getting a specialization.

We all are aware that the fees of private and deemed colleges are too high. And if you are getting a government seat, then it is fine—you don’t have to worry about the fees. But in the case of private/deemed colleges, don’t just jump into a college and take huge loans just to get an MDS degree.

Think from all perspectives and then choose what exactly you have to do. Dentistry is a very vast and amazing branch. All you have to focus on is your skills.

So, what are your views about choosing a college for MDS? What else would you like to add to this topic?
