Most of us have had dreams of all sort; happy, scary, disturbing! They all seem to be so realistic because of the people, sound, expressions in those dreams. But for the blind people, who haven’t seen people, colors or facial reactions, can they see them in their dreams at least ?
Although we can see many blind individuals around us, only a few of them are blind by birth. Those individuals who had gradually lost vision in their lifetime, can see dreams with colors, whereas, those who are blind by birth sadly cannot.
How does their dreams look like?
Blind people also have dreams, but different than ours. Their dreams use other senses like auditory, tactile and olfactory to create a story and that’s what they experience. Hence, their dreams are non- visual.
