In my opinion it is better to take stethoscope from first year because it helps us feel like a professional doctor and also useful for practicing basic clinical skills

Having completed my mbbs 4 years ago, up until the start of our internship, we were encouraged to use microtone stethoscopes to be able to appreciate heart sounds manually due to its distinct diaphragm quality. ‘As a student’, It helps you to master in distinguishing heart sounds based off of your knowledge and practise. Littmann, no doubt being remarkable globally, is a professional step-up in clinics for on-situation practical scenarios.

Littman stethoscope is not must in first year. obviously this is a dream for many students but not must.
