A career in pharmacy is booming. There are many opportunities available in pharma companies and in research fields where they seek B Pharm and D Pharm students. I think its very promising.
I have always wanted to become MBBS doctor and I have taken the alternative path of Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) which is more close to the education qualification of MBBS, here in this course I have learnt the complete anatomy, pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics, organic and inorganic chemistry along with one year internship at the hospital which makes us to gain the knowledge i.e., how to treat and how the drug cause side effects, adverse events and so on. I think the Pharm.D course is also a better option for gaining the medical knowledge.
