Are you ready for the world of research and publishing

Industry or academia after your Masters degree… Do you know what truly suits you?

This is one of the decisions you will make during your Bachelors or Masters journey.

Before you decide think carefully:

* Do you like working in a structured place or do you prefer a job where you can come up with your own ideas?

* Are you more interested in teaching and research. Do you like applying what you know in real-life situations?

* Do you want a job or are you okay with a job that changes a lot?

Lets look at it this way:

Academia is good for research, teaching and growing as a person in the run.

Industry is good for applying what you know coming up with ideas and working in a fast-paced place.

One is not better than the other.

One might be better for you.

So be honest with yourself:

* Do you like explaining things to others?

*. Do you prefer solving problems that happen in real life?

* Are you ready, for the world of research and publishing papers?

*. Do you want to work in a place where you are judged on how well you perform?

Because where you work will affect your life.

So ask yourself: are you choosing because you really know what you want or because of what others think?

Lets talk… Which path are you thinking of taking and what is making you choose that path?

Both academia and industry are good, just different. Academia suits if you like teaching and research. Industry suits if you prefer practical work and faster pace. Choose based on your interest, not pressure.

Yes. It’s important to think before you choose.
