Are Detox Drinks Medically Necessary?

Well said. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle do more for detoxification than most commercial detox drinks ever can.

Interesting read! It’s good to know that most detox drinks aren’t medically necessary; our body’s liver and kidneys already handle detoxification. Staying hydrated and eating whole foods is a much healthier, evidence-based approach.

A very balanced take. From a medical standpoint, the body’s natural detox systems are already highly efficient, and most “detox” drinks add little beyond hydration and dietary change. Sustainable health comes from consistent lifestyle habits, not short-term cleanses. Supporting organs through nutrition, sleep, and exercise is far more effective than trying to “reset” them.

Detox drinks are not required at all. The body is fully capable of detoxifying itself. Such drinks only help in keeping the body hydrated; apart from that, they have no real benefit. People consume detox drinks regularly, sipping them throughout the day, and as a result there is very little space left to eat proper food. This is how they end up consuming fewer calories, which creates a false impression of detoxification.

I personally have never used detox drinks so I dont actually knows if it actually works more better then the natural detoxification, if we want to do it natural its important to take care of our gut and eat necessary food that plays a role in detoxification the best method would be early Morning warm water+ lemon+ honey.
