ACLS is a certification course by the American Heart Association (AHA) focused on managing cardiac arrest, stroke, and other life-threatening emergencies.
It goes beyond basic CPR → advanced clinical interventions, drug algorithms, and team dynamics.
It includes :-
*Adult cardiac arrest algorithms (VF/pulseless VT, PEA, asystole).
*Use of emergency drugs
*Defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and pacing.
*Acute stroke and ACS protocols.
*Advanced airway management and ventilation techniques.
*Effective team leadership and communication in emergencies.
*Interpretation of ECG rhythms related to resuscitation.
