Learning anything new becomes difficult because it is an unfamiliar piece of information. It takes time to understand, and we often feel irritated and it affects our understanding. Generally, many of us freak out or get anxious in these kinds of situations. How do we tackle it?
I used to freak out and used to think of giving up, making me anxious and underconfident, affecting my understanding and performance. This made me question my abilities. I thought of adding breathing techniques before I began something new. This helped me in reducing my initial stress and anxiety resulting in better understanding which boosted my confidence.
The technique that worked for me was left nostril breathing which does not take much time and is convenient. It also helps in:
-
Improving oxygen efficiency
-
Inducing relaxation
-
Reducing stress
-
Lowering blood pressure and heart rate
-
Activating the Parasympathetic nervous system
It worked for me effectively, would you give it a try…?
