Starving Gaza: A Silent Genocide in the Making
Hunger today is not only a problem in Gaza, but a tool of war. Over 500,000 people are facing famine like conditions, and the number of acutely malnourished children has risen fourfold within a few months.Small bodies with bloated stomachs. Babies who have been fed from syringes. Mothers sacrificing their own food to feed their infants.This isn’t a novel. This is happening today. Hospitals are full. Health workers are treating patients without equipment. Families are boiling herbs just to survive. Over 20,000 children have already been hospitalized with acute malnutrition and many won’t survive.
This is not an act of nature. This is avoidable.
What Gaza needs is not prayers but action. Advocacy. Access. Aid.
