A “Medical Student Syndrome” when a medical student started to feel the exact same symptoms of the disease that he or she studying the topic.
This word I heard first time when i was in my 3rd year of medical course but not as other disease,I got diagnosed with Medical student syndrome.I felt chest pain while breathing,weakness and fever.I told my professor about the symptoms and then he asked me one simple question that are you studying pneumonia and yes he was right I was studying pneumonia.
This might sounds funny but every medical student should know about this syndrome for self awareness.
