Animal studies provide an important foundation but they can’t fully replicate the complexity of the human body. Clinical trials remain essential for understanding safety and effectiveness in real-world human populations. I also think advances like AI, organoids and organ-on-chip technologies have great potential to reduce animal testing in the future but for now they should complement, not completely replace, carefully conducted animal studies.

For any drug development study, clinical trial studies are the most important. It gives the evidence that this drug is safe to use in humans. As far as animal studies are concerned, it is another most important part of drug development study. Lab grown tissue/organoids etc would support the studies but not replace the animal studies.
