•Immediately place the patient in a supine position with legs elevated (Trendelenburg position) to improve cerebral blood flow.

•Ensure the airway is open. Loosen tight clothing and encourage deep breathing.

•Use an ammonia inhalant to stimulate consciousness.

Place patient in Trendelenburg position  
Losen tight clothing  
Ensure airway  
Monitor vitals  
Use ammonia inhalant if needed  
Reassure patient once consciousness returns. Document the episode.
