🔺Indigestion & bloating

🔺Increased risk of stomach cancer in worst cases

🔴How you may know you have it:

🔻Burning pain in stomach (particularly on an empty stomach)

🔻Nausea

🔻Loss of appetite

🔻Unintended weight loss

🔻Frequent burping

✅ Diagnosis and treatment:

💨Can be detected by blood, stool, or breath test.

💊Generally treated with a triple therapy (two antibiotics + acid-reducing medication)

⚠Take the full course to avoid recurrence

💊Tips for preventing it:

Wash hands before meals

Drink safe, clean water

Practice food hygiene

Don’t share utensils when infection is rampant

Your gut is important don’t dismiss ongoing tummy issues. Early diagnosis and treatment can save you years of misery.

H. pylori can impact the gut microbiome of a human body in a harmful manner. Various research studies say that the infection of H. pylori can increase certain harmful gut bacteria along with some fungi and this destabilizes the balance between the beneficial and harmful microbes within the gut. This specific disturbance actually contributes to few metabolic disorders. Therefore, eradication of H. pylori can hugely improve blood sugar levels as well as cholesterol that serve as prominent metabolic markers. Currently, many studies are exploring engineered probiotics that can selectively target H. pylori without harming the beneficial gut bacteria and this can potentially offer safer and microbiome-friendly treatment.

I didn’t know H. pylori could stay in the stomach for years without symptoms. It’s scary how it can lead to ulcers and even increase cancer risk. The symptoms like burning pain and frequent burping are easy to ignore sometimes. Good hygiene and clean water seem really important to prevent it. I’ll definitely be more careful and share this with others too. Thanks for explaining it so clearly, it’s something we all should know.
