Attending the Global Tuberculosis summit 26’, listening to Dr. Jin Takasaki presentation, really showcased the load Tuberculosis puts on the world’s health care system.

Dr. Takasaki’s research on the link of tuberculosis and Japanese population, shockingly 91% of the reported tuberculosis cases in Japan were found in foreign born population.

India’s been pushing hard. NTEP, NIKSHAY, Nutritional Support through Nikshay Poshan Yojana. The Japan stat is telling: TB doesn’t respect borders, so neither can the response.
