Monkeypox is a viral infection that occurs in Humans as well as other Animals. Mainly caused by the “Monkeypox virus”.

Mode of Transmission

- Mother to fetus
- Skin contact with an infected person
- Fluids and Respiratory Droplets
- Utensils touched by an infected person
- Mouth-to-mouth

Symptoms

- Fever
- Headache and Muscle ache
- Sore throat and Cough
- Chills and Sweat
- Skin Rashes

Tretment

- Tecovirimat
- Vaccinia immune globulin intravenous
- Cidofovir and Brincidofovir
