# Pelvic Floor Muscles Rehabilitation?

Pelvic Floor Muscles are the group muscles present in the pelvic Region which are responsible for :-

• Supporting the pelvic organs such as urinary bladder, Rectum and uterus.

• Maintaining Continence

• Assist in sexual functions

• Stabilize the core muscles.

There weakness can lead to -  
• Incontinence  
• Organ Prolapse

Kegel’s Exercises are the exercises perform to strengthen the pelvic Floor Muscles.

What’s your take on this? Do you believe that these exercises can really help to improve the symptoms and quality of life of the patient?

Yes, Since these muscles tend to weaken with age. It’s important to do Kegels to prevent incontinence
