> Cervical cancer accounts for approximately 12% of all cancer cases among Indian women, making it the second most common cancer in females in the country. Globally, India carries a significant burden, with **more than 120,000 new cases** reported every year and _ **nearly one-third of all cervical cancer deaths occurring in India annually.** _ Despite _ **large-scale campaigns** _, _ **government focus** _, and _ **increased budget allocation** _ for the cervical cancer vaccine, many people still **lack** basic awareness about cervical cancer and its vaccination. I feel that awareness programs are still not reaching rural areas and labour communities effectively. I think there is lack of awareness and it needs to be among masses,especially women. ---

I completely agree. Despite being preventable, cervical cancer awareness is still limited in many areas, especially rural communities. More simple awareness campaigns, school education, and community level discussions could really help people understand the importance of vaccination and early screening. ---

No there is lack of awareness about cervical cancer vaccination. i myself got it through word of mouth and of course that is not enough. i think here comes the role of daily Tv advertisements run by government or private media. Responsible Celebrities and known figures should be given the responsibility so that it reaches a wider audience. Yes..there is need of celebrity to come in this roles.. because in india people influence much more by celebrities than any other educator or doctor.. ---

True. Despite cervical cancer being highly preventable, the stigma and lack of clear, accessible information keep vaccination rates low, especially in underserved populations. ---
